„SKRIFUM SAMAN“
Myndlist á Íslandi leitar að röddum, textahöfundum, rithöfundum, listamönnum og gagnrýnum hugsuðum til að skrifa í blaðið.
Við köllum eftir skriflegu efni sem snertir á samtímalist á Íslandi, í opnu samtali og tengingu við samtímahugmyndir og -umræður, bæði hér á landi og í alþjóðlegu samhengi. Þá er hluti af útgáfustefnu blaðsins að vera vettvangur sem tekur við innsendum tillögum og hugmyndum yfir allt árið.
Það er okkur ánægja að skapa slíkt rými og vinna með textahöfundum í að þróa eigin hugmyndir frekar. Þannig verður þetta vettvangur fyrir samvinnu, þar sem textahöfundar mega búast við gagnkvæmu samtali og ferli. Ritstjórn áskilur sér rétt til þess að velja úr innsendum tillögum sem og að hafa áhrif á þróun þeirra og vinnslu.
Tillögur að efni fyrir næstu útgáfu þurfa að berast til okkar fyrir 31. október næstkomandi en næsta blað verður gefið út snemma árs 2023. Tillögur að efni skulu ekki vera lengri en 200 orð og skýrt skal koma fram hvers eðlis efnið muni vera. Greitt er fyrir allt efni sem valið er í blaðið.

Myndlist á Íslandi er tímarit um íslenska myndlist. Markmiðið er að skapa öfluga miðju fyrir myndlistarumfjöllun og vettvang fyrir líflega umræðu um myndlist hér á landi. Tímaritið er samstarfsverkefni Sambands íslenskra myndlistarmanna (SÍM), Kynningarmiðstöðvar íslenskrar myndlistar (KÍM), myndlistardeildar Listaháskóla Íslands, Listfræðafélags Íslands og Myndlistarráðs. Fyrsta útgáfa blaðsins kom út í mars 2021.

“WRITE WITH US”
Art in Iceland is currently seeking writers, artists, voices and critical thinkers to write for the publication.
We welcome writing on contemporary art in Iceland that is lively and engaged with current ideas and debates, both locally and internationally. The editorial board aims to have open submissions as part of the magazine's ongoing publication activity, accepting pitches for publication texts, articles, reviews and creative writing on a rolling deadline basis.
We are excited to open up the platform in this way and work with writers to develop their ideas. This is intended as a collaborative exchange and writers should expect that as part of the process. The editorial board reserves the right to make decisions regarding the selection and development of pitches.
To be considered for the next round of publication in early 2023, please submit your pitches by October 31. Pitches should be no longer than 200 words in length and clearly communicate the desired format of the author's writing. All selected contributors will receive an honorarium for their work.

Art in Iceland is a magazine about visual art in Iceland. Our aim is to create and sustain a center for artistic discourse and to be a platform for fruitful and critical debate about the art and the scene in Iceland. The magazine is a collaborative project between The Association of Icelandic Artists (SÍM), The Icelandic Art Center (KÍM), the fine art department of the Iceland University of the Arts, The Association of Art History and Theory in Iceland, and The Icelandic Visual Arts Council. The first issue of Art in Iceland came out in March 2021.
