Sóley og Michelle - Myndspuna dúett.

Tónlistin í myndsköpuninni.
Við sækjum innblástur í aðferðir tónlistamanna við samsköpun - í leit að myndhljómi sem skapar ný sameiginleg myndverk.
Við skoðum hvernig hreyfing, litir og form geta verið eins og taktur, samhljómur og/eða mishljómur tónlistar. Með 'mynd'færum okkar spinnum við saman myndhljóma sem skapa heildræn myndverk eða myndlög.

Michelle Bird er myndlistamaður og sköpun á hug hennar allan! Hún hefur hlotið fjölmarga styrki og verðlaun, m.a. frá Sacramento Center for Arts, List fyrir alla og nýsköpunarsjóði SSV. Hún hefur sýnt myndlist sína og kennt listir víða í Evrópu og Bandaríkjunum. Nýlega var verk eftir hana valið í Lunar Codex time capsule Griffin safnið sem sent verður til tunglsins. Sóley Stefánsdóttir er grafískur hönnuður og heilsumarkþjálfi - heilsuhönnuður! Hún rekur Heilsuhönnun (heilsuhonnun.is), þar sem sköpunarkrafturinn er virkjaður til að hanna vegferðina að bættri heilsu.
Sóley hefur síðustu tvo áratugi unnið að fjölbreyttum verkefnum sem hönnuður og við hönnunarkennslu. Ásamt því vinnur hún myndverk, þar sem flæði, orka, náttúra og litbrigði lífsins eru uppspretta sköpunarinnar. Sjá nánar: https://heilsuhonnun.is/soley-stefans-munsturflaedi/

Soley & Michelle - Visual improvisation Duet 


The music in our art.
Together we draw inspiration from the creative process of musicians in our collaborative visual art creation. Feeling how gestures, colors and forms imitate rhythms, harmony and discord. We use our visual instruments to spin our art together attempting to create a holistic piece. Soley and Michelle create music on materials, artists longing to expand and go beyond.

Michelle Bird is passionate about creating! She received multiple prizes and grants from the art fund List Fyrir Alla, SSV Innovation funds and the Sacramento Center for Arts. Her works are in the Swiss private collection of AXA Winterthur. For more than 2 decades she has exhibited and taught art thorough out Europe and the US. Her art work will be included in the Lunar Codex time capsule Griffin mission to the moon.

Soley Stefansdottir is a graphic designer, health coach and yoga teacher running Heilsuhonnun (Health Design) where she offers 'designing your health journey' coaching programs and courses. Over the last 20 years she has worked as a designer in various projects and research projects on design and society as well as design teaching in Mozambique, Norway and Iceland.As well she loves creating visual artwork.
