TORG – Listamessa í Reykjavík 2022 verður haldin í fjórða sinn dagana 14.-23. október.

Sem fyrr verður TORGið haldið á Korpúlfsstöðum og stendur öllum félagsmönnum SÍM til boða að senda inn umsókn.

TORG – Listamessa í Reykjavík er hugsuð sem vettvangur fyrir listamenn til að kynna sína myndlist og selja hana, án aðkomu milliliða og um leið veita áhugafólki um íslenska myndlist tækifæri til að fjárfesta í myndlist beint af listamanninum.

Líkt og áður verður boðið upp á að leigja þar til gerða sýningarbása, sem samsettir eru úr hvítum þiljum. Hvert þil er um það bil 1m á breidd og 2,50m á hæð. Listamenn ráða hvort þeir verði einir eða með öðrum með bás. Eina skilyrðið er að allir þátttakendur séu fullgildir félagsmenn í SÍM.

Ljóst er að aldrei verður hægt að uppfylla óskir allra umsækjenda um stærð og lögun bása, en mikilvægt er að í umsókn komi fram óskir um stærð báss. Lágmarksstærð bása eru 8 þil.

Sérstök sýningarnefnd TORG og sýningarstjóri fara yfir umsóknir um þátttöku og útdeila sýningarrýmum.
Samþykki sýningarnefnd þátttöku þína, færð þú sendan tölvupóst með upplýsingum um staðfestingargjald, sem í ár verður 15.000 kr., sem verður óendurgreiðanlegt (e. Non refundable). Öllum umsóknum verður svarað.

SÍM mun útbúa auglýsingaefni og sýningarskrá fyrir TORGið og því mikilvægt að allir sem hafa hug á að taka þátt séu skráðir. Stefnt er að því að ráða sérstaka sýninga- og kynningarfulltrúa TORGsins
SÍM mun, eftir sem áður, bjóða upp á greiðslusamninga við kaup á listaverki sem gera kaupanda kleift að greiða listaverk með jöfnum, vaxtalausum mánaðargreiðslum í allt að 36 mánuði. Slíkan samning má aðeins gera fyrir verk sem kosta að hámarki 500.000kr, en með þessum hætti aukast möguleikar á viðskiptum milli kaupanda og listamanna.

Torg – Listamessa í Reykjavík 2021 heppnaðist einstaklega vel og voru umsagnir þátttakenda og gesta mjög jákvæðar. Sala á listaverkum fór fram úr björtustu vonum og hefur sú kynning sem hlaust af listamessunni, í einhverjum tilfellum, leitt til áframhaldandi aukningar viðskipta. Verk listamanna seldust fyrir yfir 25 milljónir króna. 3D mynd var send í loftið og sáu yfir 1400 manns sýninguna í skýinu hér heima og víða um lönd.

Áhuginn fyrir TORGinu er alltaf að aukast og við gerum ráð fyrir fleiri umsóknum í ár en áður en í fyrra bárust um hundrað umsóknir

TORG - Art fair in Reykjavík 2022 will be held for the fourth time on 14-23. October.

As before, TORG will be held at Korpúlfsstaðir and all members of SÍM are available to submit an application.

TORG - The Reykjavík Art Fair is intended as a platform for artists to present and sell their art, without the involvement of art dealers or other intermediaries, and at the same time give those interested in Icelandic art the opportunity to invest in art directly by the artist.

As before, it will be possible to rent specially designed exhibition booths, which are composed of white panels. Each panel is approximately 1m wide and 2.50m high. Artists decide whether to be alone or with others in a booth. The only condition is that all participants are full members of SÍM.

It is clear that it will never be possible to fulfill the wishes of all applicants for the size and shape of the booths, but it is important that the application includes requests for the size of the booth. The minimum size of booths is 8 panels.

A special exhibition committee and the curator review applications for participation and distribute exhibition spaces.
If the exhibition committee approves your participation, you will receive an e-mail with information about the confirmation fee, which this year will be ISK 15,000, which will be non-refundable. All applications will be answered.

SÍM will prepare advertising material and an exhibition catalog for TORG, and it is therefore important that everyone who is interested in participating is registered. The aim is to hire a special exhibition - and presentation representative for TORG
SÍM will, as before, offer payment agreements for the purchase of works of art that enable the buyer to pay for works of art with equal, interest-free monthly payments for up to 36 months. Such an agreement can only be made for works that cost a maximum of ISK 500,000, but in this way, the possibilities for trade between the buyer and the artists increase.

Torg - Reykjavík Art Fair 2021 was extremely successful and the reviews from participants and guests were very positive. Sales of works of art exceeded expectations and the presentation of the art fair has, in some cases, led to a continued increase in sales. Artists' works were sold for over ISK 25 million. A 3D image was sent to the air and over 1400 people saw the exhibition in the cloud here at home and in many countries.

The interest in TORG is always increasing and we expect more applications this year than before, last year about a hundred applications were received

It should be noted that each panel will increase in price this year
