Nordic Culture Point: Funding for Artist Residencies to support Ukrainian artists

Nordic Culture Point has been given the opportunity to allocate additional funding for residency activities to support Ukraine’s cultural scene as the war in Ukraine has meant that increasing numbers of Ukrainian artists and cultural creators need a residency placement outside of the country’s borders.

We have opened an additional application round within our grant scheme for artist residencies. The funding can be applied by residency organisations located in the Nordic and the Baltic countries in order to invite artists Ukrainian nationality to a residency.

The purpose of this initiative is to enable a safe and secure space for Ukrainian artists and cultural creators to explore their fields and to promote their professional networks in the Nordic and Baltic region and beyond. The funding aims also to facilitate dialogue between Ukrainians and those living in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

The deadline for applications is 31 October 2022 and all applications must be submitted through our application portal.
