Monika Fryčová has been selected to represent Iceland in the international ART symposium "GLOBAL WARN(m) ING - Fight for a decent world" in Mauritius hosted by pARTage contemporary art institution.
The show opened on December 3 rd 2023 on Flic-en-Flac / Mauritius island.

Monika Fryčová, performance title: “ NO PANIC ehf. “ standing poem about the time.

Fryčová took the small Creole boat out of the Indian Ocean on the shore and converted it into vivid
gallery place, beach bar, and community centre, where she hosts local music bands, performances by
Hindu, African, Creole, and Asian artists who inhabit Mauritius island. She DJs and serves
tropical fruits and cocktails, fresh fish from the local fisherman, and a special design brand which she
created during her art tour ICELAND - MAURITIUS - SRI LANKA as a manifest and reference to
her leitmotif and battle: NO PANIC ehf. !

The project is dedicated to her KIOSK 108 in Seyðisfjörður, multi culture in Mauritius &
Goddess of the sea. Supported by MYNDSTEF / The Icelandic Visual Art Copyright Association and MANEERAM DEEPLALL.
