Julie´s Bicycle and CCL : Creative Climate Leadership - Applications open

We are excited to announce the opening of a Creative Climate Leadership (CCL) training and transformation program for artists and cultural/creative professionals. This current programme is only open to those living and working in Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Åland).

The programme is being presented in Sweden by Julie's Bicycle through a collaboration with visual artist and sustainability scientist Diego Galafassi and the Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS), supported by the Swedish Postcode Foundation.

Applications will be open from Friday (17th December 2021). The deadline for the CCL programme is 31st January 2022. The course will be running from March – June 2022. We would very much appreciate you sharing this information with your networks. We would very much appreciate you sharing this information with your networks. Please find a link to a comms pack and some social cards for you to use here.

Please note this course is “pay if you can” and there are plenty of free spaces available. The fee for the programme is SEK 3,000 for 2022.

CCL empowers artists and cultural workers to take action on the climate and ecological crisis with impact, creativity, and resilience. The programme looks at all dimensions of transformation in the creative community: from how we make change in the wider world, to how we work behind the scenes.

CCL Sweden offers:
• An online intensive program of leadership and peer-to-peer exchange for 24 talented and motivated participants living and working in Sweden (adapted from our one-week residential programme)
• A limited number of ‘seed funding’ grants of up to SEK 18,000 are available to participants to support projects after the course for freelancers/artists and not-for-profit organisations.
• An international network of CCL alumni
• Participation at a Creative Climate Summit in Stockholm in Autumn 2022
