Filtered Froth from Poured Pegasi er einkasýning eftir Söru Björgu Bjarnadóttur

Verk hennar taka þátt í rými og efni, meðhöndla líkamlegt sjónarhorn til að örva skynfæri og athygli áhorfenda. Með nálgun byggða á ferli með uppgötvun að leiðarljósi, tekur hún takmarkanir og þætti á staðnum til að skapa áþreifanlegt fyrirtæki sem forgangsraðar augnabliksupplifun og nærveru fram yfir varanleika eða varðveislu.

Sara Björg er íslenskur myndlistarmaður sem útskrifaðist frá Listaháskóla Íslands árið 2015 og hefur síðan þá sýnt og tekið þátt í verkefnum víða um Evrópu og í Bandaríkjunum. Hún var nýlega tilnefnd til Íslensku hvatningarverðlaunanna. Hún er hluti Laumulistasamsteypunnar og hefur tekið þátt í margvíslegu samstarfi í gegnum árin.

Filtered Froth from Poured Pegasi is a solo exhibition by Sara Björg Bjarnadóttir

Her work engages with space and material, manipulating the physicality of perspective to stimulate viewers' senses and attention. With a process-based approach guided by discovery, she embraces restrictions and the elements on site to create a tangible enterprise that prioritizes momentary experience and presence over permanence or conservation.

Sara Björg is an Icelandic artist that graduated from the Iceland University of Arts in 2015 and has since then exhibited and taken part in projects all around Europe and the USA. She was recently nominated for the Motivational Icelandic Art Prize. She is a part of the collective Laumulistasamsteypan and participated in various collaborations over the years.
