Sjávarljós, ljómur hafsins, og Bergmál, endurvarp, en einnig tungumál grjótsins. Þar sem jörðin syngur í samhljómi með sænum, og hafstraumurinn speglast í senn gegnum gárur og bárur klettanna, dafnar líf þar að innan.

Menningarverkefnið Bergmál og Sjávarljós endurspeglar viðkvæmt samband mannvera og þá
staði sem verða fyrir áhrifum þeirra. Þetta á einnig við sambönd þeirra vera sem þar dveljast og
goðsagnirnar sem móta þær.

Þessi þemu verða skoðuð frá mismunandi sjónarhornum fjórtán listamanna, unnið út frá innra
rými vitans og nærliggjandi umhverfi þess.

Sávarljós, the light of the sea, and Bergmál, the echo, but also the voice of the stone. The
ground that sings and resonates with the sea, and the sea that in turn projects itself into the
grooves of the rocks, and life thrives within it.

This cultural project that aims to reflect on the sensitive relationship between humans and the
places they interact with and transform. But it also refers to the relationship between the
creatures that inhabit these places and the legends that shape them.

The theme will be explored from the different perspectives and fields of content by fourteen
artists, developing between the interior of the lighthouse and the surrounding area.
