Ásmundarsalur kallar eftir umsóknum fyrir sýningarárið 2026, þar sem leitað er eftir umsóknum fyrir 5 - 6 vikna einkasýningar og samsýningar í 72 fm sýningasal okkar á 2. hæð. Einnig köllum við eftir sýningum á kaffihúsið á 1stu hæð, 4 - 8 vikna vinnustofum í Gunnfríðargryfju og sviðslistaverkum.

Við tökum á móti umsóknum til og með 25. maí 2025. Svör berast til allra umsækjanda fyrir 20. september 2025.

Ásmundarsalur is looking for artist to exhibit and perform in the next calendar year; 2026. We are calling for proposals for solo shows and/or group art exhibitions for a 5-6 week exhibition slots in our 72 square meter hall on our 2nd floor. We also call for proposals for exhibitions in the café on the 1st floor as well as proposals for the artists' workshop in Gunnfríðargryfja, were the 25 square meter Gryfja can serve as an open studio / open workshop for your art practice for a term of 4-8 weeks.

Furthermore, we are exited to call for applications from the performing artists. We have allocated space in the 2026 exhibition schedule for the performing arts and are calling for proposals for performances in all their diversity, encouraging collaborations across different artistic disciplines.

We are accepting applications till May 25th, and responses will be sent to all applicants by September 20th 2025.

Applicants information and applications will only be accessible to the Ásmundarsalur advisory board and directors.
