Samband íslenskra myndlistarmanna óskar eftir umsóknum um þátttöku í myndlistarsýningu í rými Nordic Culture Point B28 á eyjunni Suomenlinna fyrir utan Helsinki. Sýningin er hluti af ráðstefnu sem haldin er í tilefni af 80 ára afmæli Norræna myndlistafélagsins sem fram fer þann 30. október til 2. nóvember 2025.

Hver listamaður fær 2 metra veggpláss til þess að sýna verk sýn. Einnig er um gólfpláss að ræða. Nánari upplýsingar um sýninguna og þema er að finna hér að neðan.

Umsóknir sendist á sim@sim.is fyrir mánudaginn 9. júní næstkomandi ásamt upplýsingum um listamann og þau verk sem viðkomandi ætlar að sýna. Sérstök valnefnd mun fara yfir umsóknir og velja listamann til þátttöku.

Theme
“Vi ses- See you- Nähdään”
The exhibition can be seen as a postcard exhibition but can be understood in a broader perspective. Perhaps a greeting from one artist to another, a vision of collaboration, a dream of a reunion. The execution is free and even a digital “Vi ses” is a possibility.

Who
Invitation to all 9 sections of the Nordic Art Association. Each section can choose the artist as they wish, each country has about 2 m of wall space at its disposal, for visual art there is also floor space available.

Activity
In addition to the artworks, artists from all sections are invited to have the opportunity to participate with performing arts, performances or workshops during the opening and Suomenlinna Kekri on the 1st of November 2025 at 2-8 pm and in that case the artists can receive a small compensation from NKK.

Exhibition contract
Since the organizers are NKF in Finland in collaboration with NKK, the exhibition contract is made with each individual artist in triplicate.

Exhibition dates
The artworks will be delivered to Suomenlinna on the 10th of October 2025. Nordic Culture Point B28, 00190.

The artworks will be sent both to and from the exhibition at each country's own expense.

The exhibition is free of charge and no commission is taken, but no compensation can be promised

The exhibition will be built on Tuesday-Wednesday the 28th and 29th of October 2025 and will be taken down on Monday the 24th of Nowember.

Opening on the 1st of November 2025 from 2 to 8 pm.
