Marshallhúsið: Farangurheimild - Bryndís Björnsdóttir (aka Dísa) og Steinunn Gunnlaugsdóttir
Afhjúpun: Útilistaverk og gjörningur
Laugardaginn 9. apríl kl. 16 verður útiskúlptúrinn Farangursheimild afhjúpaður með gjörningi á bílastæðinu fyrir framan Marshallhúsið. Listaverkið er eftir Bryndísi Björnsdóttur (aka Dísa) og Steinunni Gunnlaugsdóttur.
Með verkinu er samtíminn ávarpaður, sem og fortíðin, framtíðin og geimurinn.
Verkið er í tilefni sýningarinnar ÓNÆM/IMMUNE sem nú stendur yfir í Nýlistasafninu.
Kjörið er að koma tímanlega til að verða vitni að sjálfri afhjúpuninni.

Unveiling: Sculpture in public space and a performance
On Saturday 9th of April at 16 o'clock the sculpture Carry–On will be unveiled along with a performance on the parking lot in front of the Marshall house. The artwork is by Bryndís Björnsdóttir (aka Dísa) and Steinunn Gunnlaugsdóttir.
The work makes an attempt to address current times, the past, future and outer space.
The sculpture is created in celebration of the exhibition IMMUNE/ÓNÆM which is currently displayed at The Living Art Museum.
We highly recommend audiences to show up on time to witness the performance.
