Pop-up sýning á verkum bandarísku listakonunnar Patriciu Aaron verður haldin laugardaginn 30. apríl frá kl: 12-17:00 í Litla Gallerý.
Patricia er að klára listamannadvöl sína í Hafnarborg en verkin vann Patricia á meðan dvöl hennar stóð.
Málverk hennar sameina hráa fegurð náttúrunnar, jarðlandslag og borgarmenningu. Málverk Arons eru hugsandi, hrein og heiðarleg - oft innbyggð í ríkar sögulínur.
Aaron fæddist í Youngstown, Ohio, lærði myndlist erlendis í London, París og Augsburg og fékk grunnnám sitt frá University of Maryland Heidelberg, Þýskalandi. Aaron hlaut MFA við Lista- og listasöguháskólann í Denver, Denver, CO.
Aaron hefur hlotið listamannastyrki þar á meðal: Ucross Foundation, Ucross, WY, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Amherst, VA, Santa Fe Art Institute, Santa Fe. Fe, NM, Anderson Ranch listamiðstöðin, Snowmass, CO, Hvitahús, Hellissandi, Íslandi, Hafnarborg menningar- og listamiðstöð, Hafnarfjörður, Ísland, SIM, Reykjavík, Ísland, Museum of Outdoor Arts, Englewood, CO og Hui No'eau , Maui, HI. Aaron er aðjúnkt við háskólann í Denver, Denver, CO.

A pop-up exhibition of the works of the American artist Patricia Aaron will be held on Saturday 30 April from 12-17: 00 in Litla Gallerý.
Patricia is finishing her artist stay in Hafnarborg, but the works that will be shown were made by Patricia during her stay. Her paintings combine the raw beauty of nature, the landscape and urban culture.
Aaron's paintings are thoughtful, pure and honest, often built into rich historical lines.
Aaron was born in Youngstown, Ohio, studied art abroad in London, Paris and Augsburg and received her undergraduate studies from the University of Maryland Heidelberg, Germany. Aaron received an MFA from the University of Art and Art History in Denver, Denver, CO.
Aaron has received artist grants including: Ucross Foundation, Ucross, WY, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Amherst, VA, Santa Fe Art Institute, Santa Fe. Fe, NM, Anderson Ranch Art Center, Snowmass, CO, White House, Hellissandur, Iceland, Hafnarborg Culture and Art Center, Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, SIM, Reykjavík, Iceland, Museum of Outdoor Arts, Englewood, CO and Hui No'eau, Maui, HI. Aaron is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver, Denver, CO.
