JIA Future Artists Award

JIA Future Artists Award, organized by the Japan Illustrators' Association (JIA), collects children's artworks globally. It aims to discover future talents in illustration art, commend outstanding young creators, and build an international cultural and artistic exchange platform using illustration as a medium.

Winning young artists will receive cash prizes, certificates, and free participation in large-scale illustration exhibitions. Their works will be showcased in touring exhibitions in cities such as Beijing and Shanghai.

The Japan Illustrators’ Association (JIA), established in 1999, aims to discover and encourage outstanding illustrators worldwide, promote exchange among illustrators, cultivate young talents, protect the rights of illustrators, and enhance the status of the profession.

The association holds the JIA Illustration Award annually, recognizing recipients with prizes including Grand Prize, Gold Prize, Silver Prize, and Bronze Prize, with over 50 illustrators honored each year. Past awardees come from nearly 30 countries and regions, totaling over a thousand winners. This award has significant global influence, playing a crucial role in advancing and promoting the creativity and foresight of illustration art.
