Old school Intaglio – as green as I can go with my integrity intact

Cathrine Finsrud is doing a workshop in drypoint and etching at Islendsk Grafik in Reykjavik on the 15th and 16th of february. Her background is from old school printmaking. During and after her master in art from the Norwegian academy of the arts she fell in love with Copper and has been experimenting with the printmakingmedium ever since. It’s a marriage, she says, you need to get to know each other to make this magic happen.
Finsrud does workshops in Norway, both from her studio, for professional school students and kids through a program called; “The cultural backpack” so she has a lot of experience from teaching both old school and the more green approach. In her CV you can also see she has been on the board of the Norwegian Printmaking association for years and present head of.

• A pantyhose 40 denier or thinner (one of the secrets)
