Hordaland Kunstsenter's Residency Programme for 2027/2028, open to artists based in the Nordic and Baltic countries (excluding Norway).

KEY DETAILS:
Deadline: 01 December 2026
Residency period: 2 months (choice of Spring 2027 / Fall 2027 / Winter 2027 / Spring 2028)
Stipend: 30,000 NOK for the full residency period
Accommodation: Fully covered - self-catering, furnished one-bedroom apartment near the art centre in central Bergen
Travel support: Up to €500 per resident
Workspace: Dedicated desk, access to project room, plus connections to relevant studios/production networks in Bergen based on the artist's needs

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to artists with a permanent address in the Nordic region (Sápmi, Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Sweden, Åland) or the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) — with the exception of Norway. Citizenship of these countries is not required, only permanent residence. Not open to full-time students or artists currently enrolled in an artistic PhD programme.
