The International Association of Art, IAA/AIAP, is an NGO (a non-governmental organisation) working in official partnership with UNESCO, with the consultative status, comprising artists belonging essentially to the fields of painting, sculpture, printmakers, and artists practising other forms of creative work in the visual arts.

The Association of Norwegian Visual Artists (NBK) is a membership organisation committed to promote and enhance the intellectual, social, legislative and economic interests of professional visual artists.

The Association of Visual Artists (BKF) is Denmark's professional organization for visual artists with 2.000 members.

The association's main purpose is to safeguard the professional, economic, social and legal interests of artists and to promote the role of art everywhere in society. BKF protects the artistic freedom of the individual artist and respect for the visual arts in general.
