The Nordic House in Reykjavík opened in 1968.and is a Nordic cultural center whose main goal is to serve as a link between Iceland and the other Nordic countries. Numerous exhibitions of Nordic art are held in the gallery located in the basement of the house. There are also art exhibitions and information displays in the lobby and occasionally in the library.
